Milliarium Aureum- “Golden Milestone” - It was a marble or gilded bronze statue erected by Caesar Augustus in 20 BC and all distances were based off of their distance from this stone.

Monday- Talked about Wartburg college

Tuesday- Jacob Riis took photos of tenants and homeless people to show the country and help them. Fires wiped out whole cities because buildings were made of wood. People died because of no fire escapes.
