The Alamo was built in the 1700's in San Antonio, Texas. It was a chapel used by the Mission San Antonio de Valero. During the Texas Revolution the Alamo was used at a fort and was the scene of the famous Battle of the Alamo where Texans fought for there independence from Mexico.
