The Syrian Civil War
A civil war is breaking out in Syria, a huge conflict between the US and Russia, including Iran and Saudi Arabia. This civil war was mainly caused by economic inequality, due to a huge gap between the rich and the poor, which caused anger and frustration amongst the people. From March 2011 to January 2024 there were 231,108 civilian deaths and 14 million displaced.
In March 2011, people had a huge gap in their relationship with their ruler, Bashar al-Assad, which led to massive protests and pro-democracy rallies in Syria. It got so bad, that armed rebel groups started to form throughout Syria, which led to the beginning of the Syrian Insurgency. These rebel forces were receiving equipment and arms from NATO and Gulf Cooperation Council states, to fight/hold off Iran and Russia's military forces, which only further escalated the situation.
Overall, I think we need to put an end to the fighting, and instead figure out how to improve the economic inequality, so we can better the living of Syrian civilians. Whether we can fix the problem by potentially assigning a new leader or developing a system to even out the difference between the rich and the poor.
1.) How do you think we can combat this issue in Syria?
2.) Do you think we further escalated the situation?
3.) Could this civil war lead to bigger wars/problems?

Good topic choice Madden! I do think your summary is quite brief considering the topic. Also be sure to check back later Thursday to comment.
Could this civil war lead to bigger wars/problems? I don't believe that the Syrian War can lead to anything bigger. I belive that the united States should not back out I belive we are helping the rebales the united states did not esculate the war any or if it did it was not a noticabel change.
Could this civil war lead to bigger wars/problems? I think that id the US get involved in this war then we should we worried, I think for the saftey of everyone I dont think we should get involved, and leave it to them and them only.
I dont think that we should get involved in this civil war. I think bringing the US into it could cause more danger to people and citizans. Syria is their own country in this war and should be able to try and help themselves out of it.
Could the civil war lead to bigger wars/problems?. Yes it really could lead to way different problems. People are already tearing stuff down and taking stuff. They are out shooting gun and that could end up killing people. So they should not be doing what they are doing and it's just going to cause more fighting.
I don't think that we would get involved maybe talking wise but not sending troops into Syria. We are just helping not really escalating the situation but if we were escalating we would have seen it by now. We can just control this situation by keeping eyes on Syria.
I don't believe that the Syrian War can lead to anything bigger. U.S is somewhat already involved and shouldn't back out. We are simply helping the Rebels to get their economic equality. The U.S didn't escalate the situation, but try to stop Bashar Al-Asaad.
I don't think that the U.S. should get involved with the war. I believe that they can handle the situation themselves. But, if this war doesn't stop it could lead to more problems for everyone. So the U.S. staying out of this war is probably the best option, so they don't start any problems.
I don't think the US should get involved in the war. I feel like they can solve the situation and not have to worry about something that isn't the United States problem. I think this civil war can lead into bigger problems. I don't think the war will get bigger but I feel like if there is a ton of problems then the war might get bigger.
Could this civil war lead to bigger wars/problems? Though it is hard to say, there could be many possibilities of this war breaking out into bigger wars. It depends if the opposing sides annoy other civilizations.
