Global Climate Change

Some changes that are happening in our environment, such as droughts, wildfires, and extreme rainfall, are occurring faster than scientists had previously thought. According to the United Nations and the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), today's humans have never seen the changes in our global climate, and some of these changes are irreversible over the next hundreds to thousands of years.

Scientists are confident that our global temperatures will continue to rise for many decades due to the greenhouse gases produced by human activities. The IPCC's 6th report, states that human emissions of heat-trapping gases have already warmed the climate by nearly 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 degrees Celsius) since 1850-1900. The global average temperature is expected to reach or exceed 1.5 degrees C within the next few decades, and these changes will affect all regions of the Earth.

The severity of the effects caused by climate change will depend on the path of future human activities. The more greenhouse gas emissions we produce, the more the climate will change making more extreme and widespread damaging effects that will occur throughout our planet. However, the future effects of climate change depend on the total amount of carbon emissions. Therefore, if we reduce our emissions, we may be able to avoid some of the worst effects of climate change.

1. How does climate change make plants bloom earlier?

2. How can people help stop climate change?

3. Why haven't scientists been trying to find a solution to climate change?

  • There are many ways plants bloom earlier than other plants. It could have to do with what kinda plant it is or if the plant was genetically modified to bloom earlier than most other plants. I think that if we stop letting out and producing harmful chemicals into our environments. Like our air, water, or on land.

  • I think there's different ways that the plants bloom earlier than most other plants. We can help climate change and we can stop it. There are a lot of factors that scientists can't study.

  • I think there are some things that make plants bloom earlier, but I'm not sure if climate change is one of them. People have been observing climate change for quite a while now,  There are too many factors that play a part in climate change to have definite solution.

  • I think there are many ways people could stop climate change but they just have to step up and do it. I guess with enough help and funding I believe climate change could be a thing of the past. I think the reason why scientists haven't been trying to find a solution to climate change is because there are many other things they could be worrying about.

  • I think there are some things that make plants bloom earlier, but I'm not sure if climate change is one of them. People have been observing climate change for quite a while now, so scientists are definitely close to finding a solution.

  • I think just with our way of life, we won't be able to completely stop climate change. But we can slow it down by doing things, like walking or biking to places when they are close by or carpooling. There are too many factors that play a part in climate change to have definite solution.

  • People can help stop climate change by reducing our carbon footprint while we are here on the Earth. I think that climate change is blown out of proportion. Yes, our climate is rising, but climate change isn't just heating up. Our climate has changed a lot over the past hundreds of year, getting hotter and colder at times.

  • Climate change has been a big thing that many people have focused on, especially environmental specialists. For something to change, almost everyone needs to make a change in their everyday life. That is the only way something will happen.

  • There have been many news, videos, etc. on tv and in social media trying to inform people about climate change and ways to stop it from happening, but it is often ignored. I think that scientists haven't found a way to stop it because you need to change the way everyone lives.

  • climate change can cause plants to bloom earlier by the weather being warmer earlier on in the year.

people can stop using things that have exaughsts.

because the government controls what scientists are allowed to do.
