On December 4, 2024 United HealthCare CEO, Brian Thompson was shot and killed by an unknown and masked gunman. The attack happened at 7am when the masked gunman was waiting in the freezing cold outside of the Hilton Hotel Brian was staying at. When brian walked out the gunman approached him from behind and shot him once in the back and once in the right calf. He was pronounced dead at 7:12am that same morning.
The words “delay” and “depose” were found on a live round and a shell casing tied to the shooter, according to Law Enforcment at the scene. “Depose” was written on a shell casing from a round that was fired into Brian, while “Delay” was written on a live round that was ejected when the shooter appeared to be clearing a jam. Everything about this attack appears to be premeditated, preplanned, and targeted very carefuly.
So that begs the question who and why would someone kill the CEO of Healthcare? It's no secret that the American people aren't particulary happy about the way US Healthcare is ran. This is evident by the growing support around the killer, whos identity is yet to be found. People online seem to be celebrating the death of Brian Thompson and rooting for the killers escape. Even vigilante justice groups who work to solve true crime are refusing to touch this case.

Looking at the news from last night, they might have found the killer. So my guess by the evidence off the news there is a chance the killer will be found, maybe even found already. I think people are happy because they thought diffrent on how he did his job.
I think that the killer will probably be found because he killed an important person and people are going to want to find out who it was so the police will go into a deep investigation to identify the killer. People are probably celebrating his death because they didn't agree with his way of running things.
I think some people are happy and celebrating the death of Brain Thompson as they didn't agree with the way he ran the United States healthcare. I believe someone who was very against his thoughts and wanted something to change would kill him. I think the killer being found depends on whose job it is to look for them. If this person didn't like or was bribed then the killer will not be found.
