We started off today with breaking down the assassigned blog for this week and I'm doing the War in Afghanistan. Then we moved onto Mr. Bruns' JFK power point.Oswald got sharp shooter status by a few points. He was dishonorably discharged because he got in trouble a lot, he hated America. Soviet Union and America didn't like each other,Oswald moved there. He met his wife and had a daughter, he beat her yet she still stayed. When he tried to move back to the US it was hard because they thought he could be a spy. He also supported Cuba since he was communist. Mannlicher-Carcano Rifle is what he used to kill Kennedy, and he carried it into work in a paper bag. Oswald also shot and killed a police officer because he was going to ask him about the assassination because some descriptions fit Oswald's. He went into a theatre without buying a ticket so the police were called. He went out with a fight though when the police were taking him. Interrogation that went on for hours was by captin Will Frtiz, which is where most of the information came from. He said to the press, "I'm a patsy." Which meant that he was set up and he was taking the blame for what somebody else did. He acted like he didn't know what people were talkikng about when he was asked if he killed the president. He died only fourty or so hours after Kennedy did at the same hospital.Jack Ruby- Dallas strip club owner, he knew a lot of the officers and was friends with them. He heard that Oswald was going to be transfered and just made a quick decision to kill him. People thought that he did it to keep Oswald quiet, Ruby said it was because he didn't was Jaquie to have to deal with going to trial and seeing Oswald.Warren Commissions- There were three shell casings so that means that there was three shots, the first went through Kennedys back to the throat, the third was the fatal one to Kennedy. They say the first hit Connally, but he says it was the second. It was all Oswald, there was no evidence for conspiracies.-Breann Lehr
