The Taliban are allies with Al-Qaeda, Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin(?), Islamic Emirate of Waziristan, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. I only know what i one of those allies are. There leader is Mullah Mohammed Omar. All of the Taliban are 100% muslim. The Taliban to Afghanistan is like the Green Beret to the U.S. They have weaponry, training, and supplies from there goverment. When most people hear of the Taliban, they automatically think of terrorism, suicide bombings, and 9-11. We also face them on the battlefield. There weaponry includes the AK-47 and the M16A1.
