Today we did our blog talks. First we did free blogs and they were quite interesting. Some of the topics were an ancient synagoge found in Israel. The man who told Obama he lied and Osama bin Ladins latest tape. Another was a student who wrote a book about saftey at yale and then went missing. Tnen there were a couple others.Then we talked about Obama's Speech. His speech was pretty pointless in my opinion. He made a speech that our Principals give us all the time but it was supposed to be a lot more special or something. He made lesson plans for them and these were where the controversy was. These plans seemed to teachers like he was trying to force his political veiws upon the children who wouldn't know any different. He seemed to change them after the speech to something more harmless and something that would be used to help people stay in school. Other than this thing the speech was really harmless. He did back it with a couple examples that showed people striving to get an education despite their disabilities or lack of time. Obama talked about himself getting his education from him mom teaching him at 4 in the morning before she went to work.
