Today we continued Mr. Bruns's presentation.Assassination Notes Cont....As soon as the secret service heard shots they took Johnson down to the ground. He was sworn into presesidency later that day. The Gov's wife was upset that her husband was not getting much attention at the hospital because he got shot, but the doctoes were paying more attention to Kennedy because he was obviously way way way more important. If someone killed the preseident in Dallas, Texas the Texas police should have taken casse of the assasination. But the secret service were like whatever we are gonna do what we want and they went against the law and took the body. That is where the Secret Service conspiracy came from where people thought the Secret Service took the body only so they could doctor the bullet wound. He was shot on Nov. 22, 1963, and he was burried three days later.Lee Harvey OswaldLee and his wife Marina met in Russia and had a baby named June. He was not a great husband. He beat his wife and abused her a lot(verbally and physically.) Oswald was definately a communist. He liked Marx's theories and Fidel Castro. Oswald performed the shooting from the Texas School Book Depository(TSBD.) He set up cardboard boxes in the window (sniper's nest) so people could not see him. He shot with a Mannlicher-Carcano Rifle. Oswald used paper bags to hide the gun. Lee Harvey Oswald left the TSBD with a Coke. He went to his apartment and got his revolver. JD Tippit stopped him because he look suspicious. Oswald shot him with a revolved seven times, four of them him. After he shot Tippit Oswald went into a shoe store and acted way way super nervous, and soon he left. The man in the shoe store thought he looked suspicious so he followed him. He was followed to a theater where he was later arrested. Lee Harvey Oswald tried to kill a cop in the theater. Battle Cry was the name of the movie that was playing at the theater where Oswald was arrested.Interrogation was done by Captain Will Fritz. Oswald told the press, "I'm just a patsy." That basically means "I'm just the guy taking the blame." The press was totally all over Oswald. When Oswald was transferred for county jail all of the press was there. This is when Jack Ruby shot and killed Oswald. Ruby was sent to jail where he eventually died of cancer. Something ironic... Oswald went to the same hospital as Kennedy.Jack Ruby was a night club/strip club owner. He had some ties to the Mafia, and he also had very close ties to police officers. He took them doughnuts basically every single day. Ruby's shooting of Oswald was totally a spur of the moment, he had his dog out in the car when he went in to see Oswald's transfer. He said that he shot Oswald for Mrs. Kennedy so she did not have to go back to the trial. What happened to the dog is not known. ):The Warren CommissionEarl Warren was the head of the Warren Commision.The weight of the evidence indicates that there were three shots fired. There is very persuassive evidence from the experts to indicate that the same bullet which pierced the President's throat also caused Governer Connally's wounds. The shots that killed Kennedy and hit Connally were of the acts of Lee Harvey Oswald. He later that day shot and killed Tippit. Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy and acted by himself.Magic Bullet TheoryIt was possible for the bullet to hit both Kennedy and Connally but the reason they call it magic is because the bullet came out in basically perfect condition which is like way super messed up.
