today, i worked on my assigned blog. and i decided to do it on the Americanization movement.. Chapter 7.2. i learned that europeans immagrated over here and americans werent happy about it. So thats how the Americanization movement started. people started to teach them our culture and language because they had their own cultures and languages. Americans saw them as a threat. People went to school to learn the language, history of the United States and the government. some people didnt want to give up their way of life.
