Chad Schaffner is 37 and was arrested in King City Missouri. A retired state trooper reconized Chad from media reports and notified the Missouri police. Scjaffner was charged for bank robbery in Tennesee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, armed robbery in Illinois, receiving stolen property in Ohio, and drug charges in Missouri.Schaffner was booked in jail at 8:00 p.m. saturday and will appear in court Monday in Jefferson City, Missouri. Last month was when he was identifed from pictures. In the pictures he was seen sneering and holding a gun sideways. May through August where when the robberies took place, but he never harmed anyone.
It is said that Schaffner really likes to pull his gun out. He has used it in every band robbery from shoving it in peoples faces, to threating to use it on them. When he was caught the FBI found out that he had been in jail last year for armed robbery conviction and other convictions in Indiana, for crimes including burglary, resisting law enforcement, and purchase of a handgun without a license. I think that it is a good thing that Chad Schaffner was put in jail because he is wanted for very many things and sometime he is actually going to use that gun on someone and hurt them or kill them.
