Today in CWI, we went over the Europe map then continued discussing assigned blogs. Luke began with the president of Iran, Ahmindinejad. He doesn't consider Israel a country, and still does not believe the Holocaust ever happened.Next on the agenda was the nukes in Iran. Iran's nuclear program started in the 1950's, with the the help of the U.S. and European intelligence. They are supposedly are just making electicity with the nuclear things over there because they don't want to sell their oil. Recently, we have found an underground system to make nuclear weapons. Because they have broken the law that countries can't have nuclear weapons unless they had it previously to this law, but other countries have broken it and nothing has been done, so I don't think any action will be taken.The topic after that was Iran in Iraq. They have been supplying Iraq soldiers with weapons. We found out they were a while back, but they promised they would stop. We recently found weapons with marks indicating they were from Iran. So at the moment, we are awfully upset with them. (:
