Battle of Wounded Knee

They battle of wounded knee was fought on december 29, 1890. About 300 indians died and about 25 american troops died. The indians were fighting because they thought that it wasn't fair that their way of life was being destroyed and they were all reduced to staying on a reservation that the government made for them. I don't think it was very fair either because the indians were there first before the Americans got there.

In the end of the battle, they indians lost even more of the land that they already have had and I don't think that they were very happy about that. I know i wouldn't if I lost something that was mine before.
