The movie i picked this time is the boy in the striped pajamas.
This movie takes place in Germany, actually Nazi Germany. This movie is in Bruno's nine year old innocent eyes. He came home from school to find out that his family is moving to a countryside. And when he gets there, his family said there are out of bounds zones but he couldn't help but explore and he meets a boy named Smuel sitting on another side of a fence. He is wearing striped pajamas, and some sort of cloth cap. They befriend quickly. Throughout the movie, Bruno keeps going to the fence to spend time with Smuel. Bruno brings him food. Then, towards the end, , Smuel tells Bruno that he can't find his dad so Bruno went with Smuel and Smuel gave bruno pajamas so that he could fit in. Then on a rainy day, Bruno takes off his clothes, puts on the pajamas, and goes on the other side of the fence. The leaders of the other side take Bruno and Smuel and tell them they're going to take a "shower" along with many many other people on the other side of the fence. Little do they know, its a gas chamber, a gas shower, and they die in the shower that day.
I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars because it really sets the mood and it shows how concentration camps really were, and it just hits you about how sad the camps really were.
