We talked about what we are going to be learning about after JFK. Then we went back and continued to talk about Mr. Bruns slideshow. We just talked about pictures. Zapruder was the guy with the video camera. The video was sold for $150,000. We then watched the Zapruder film. It was very graphic and pretty disgusting. Vice President Lyndon Johnson was in the car behind Kennedy. When Kennedy got shot they pulled Johnson down because they thought Oswald was trying to shoot both. Kennedy never really got along with Johnson.Kennedy was pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital. Nelly was mad because everything was revolving aroung Kennedy. Connally was shot and the doctors didn't get to him right away. Eventually the doctors saw Connally and "fixed" him. Johnson gave Bobby 24 hours to get John Kennedy's stuff out of the White House. Nelly then called Johnson and he gave them a little more time. The funeral was on Kennedy's son's third birthday. John John was flying a plane and it was night and he flew it right into the ocean.Lee Harvey Oswald was in the Marines. He was a comunist. He was discharged from the army and went to the Soviet Union. Oswald wanted to get a loan to return to the U.S. He was allowed back eventually. He handed out these fliers that we should be nice to Cuba. When he went to get the gun he said he was getting curtain rods, but really he was getting the gun. At first Oswald was arrested for killing J.D. Tippet. Tippet thought Oswald was being suspicious so Oswald killed him. Oswald went into a shoe store and just kinda stood there and was looking out a window. As soon as Oswald left the owner called the cops. Oswald then walked into a theatre and the cops came in and tried to arrest him. It was very difficult because Oswald ressisted arrest.They allowed Oswald to talk to the press and have press conferences. He says he is a patsy which means like I am being blamed for something I didn't do. It was not very safe because they let people go like all over him. Within a day or two Oswald was being transferred to a County Jail and that is when Jack Ruby shot Oswald.
