Today Mr. Bruns talked about how the next week we move on from all of the JFK stuff and start a new section. Its about the revolutionary War. We also continued looking at the pictures and discussing all of them and what they mean. Abraham Zapruder was the only man during the parade at the spot where JFK was shot with a video camera. He sold the video for $150,000. I also learned how JFK was supposed to have a glass bubble that went around his car. But, it was a nice day and Kennedy decided not to have it. It could have possibly saved his life.JFK and Connally were taken to the Parkland Hospital. Nellie Connally was very upset because all of the doctors were giving there attention only to JFK. He was pretty much done for so Nellie thought that they should've gotten to her husband faster. Johnson gave Bobby and Jackie only 24 hours to get all of their stuff out of the white house. That is one of the reasons a conspiracy startted that Johnson was in on the assassination. John Jr., JFK's son had to attend his fathers funeral on his third birthday. We also talked a little about Lee Harvery Oswald. Was in the Marines and was a sharp shooter. Oswald was a big communist. Oswald married Marina and had two kids. He was not a very good husband, he would beat his wife. Oswald moved to Russia before he met his future wife then they moved back to the U.S. Thats why people thought he or his wife was a soviet spy. The U.S. and Russia were enemies. When Oswald was in custody and being moved to a county jail Ruby shot him.
