Today we started talking about Amanda's blog. Then Mr.Bruns showed us his slideshow. We only talked about that for like a minute then Amanda, Daniell, and Asia talked about their presentation. Their topic was JFK's journey in Dallas. He went to Dallas to campaign. He went to talk to the governor of Dallas about political stuff. At 12:30 Kennedy's limo entered by Dealey Plaza. He went to the Texas school first. There was a shot fired and they thought it was a car backfiring, but Kennedy's wife said "No, it was a gun shot and we are going to get shot." The second bullet that killed JFK left a fist sized hole in the side of JFK's head.A U.S. Secret Service Agent was right behind the limo. When he got to the hospital he was in trauma room 1. His condition was "moribund" which meant no chance of living. At 1:33 his death was announced to the world. At 2:00 his body was put in a casket and taken to Air Force 1. The autopsy was at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. He died on November 22,1963, he was 46 years old.The secret service took his body, but really they shouldn't have The results of the examination was that he was shot twice. The shot in the head is what killed him.After the presentation we went back to Mr.Bruns presentation. JFK went down to Dallas to talk to Connally & Senator Ralph Yarborough. His whole slide-show was all pictures and we had to talk about them. Connally's wife was upset because nobody was paying attention to Connally when he got shot. The doctors were more focused on the president then Connally.
