The Bird and the Bee Sides

The Bird and the Bee Sides is the title of the new Relient K album. Clever, eh? What brilliant minds make up this band! Since I have been fortunate enough to be exposed to such witty and completely genius songs and know just how divine they are, I aim to bring you the wonders they behold.Relient K, named after the Reliant K car, was fomed in 1998 and has only increased in popularity since it's self-titled debut album. Since then, they have released four more studio albums, seven EP's, Christmas albums, and one random collection of songs. Gotta love em'. So why change ReliAnt K to ReliEnt K? Truth be told, RK wanted to avoid copyright infringements. Didn't I tell you they were clever? Some songs you may have heard but not related to the band are "Sadie Hawkins Dance", a version of "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", "Be My Escape", and "Who I am Hates Who I've Been".You want some off-the-wall interesting facts about RK? Okay!-In the band there are 2 Matt's, 2 Jo(h)n's and 1 lonely Ethan.-Members have been known to love Combos and Skittles-The band wrote a book titled, "The Complex Infrastructure Known as the Female Mind" after the release of a song that stated all emotional girls should wear mood rings-One of the Christmas albums is called "Let it snow, baby. Let it reindeer"...random much? BubbleShare: Share photos - Find great Clip Art Images. As you can see from the pictures I included, I attended one of their concerts which was on October 3. They played with Ludo, This Providence, and House of Heroes. All of the bands did a crazy phenomenal job. The first six pictures are of Ludo. The rest are Relient K.So go check out their myspace page or turn on a Christian rock radio station. Of course since none come in around here you'll have to do it Mr. Bruns' way and turn on your internet radio.-Sara
