We've been through this before, I'm a nerd, so let's move on. I adore the Inheritance... Cycle. And I absolutely adore the fact that it's no longer the Inheritance Trilogy. Thank Jebus. That probably didn't make much sense... So I'll go ahead and explain myself now.My fellow nerds and I were super hyped up on September 20th when the third book was finally released. Up until Monday September 29, I was under the influence that Christopher Paolini ze New York Times bestseller's popular series was only a trilogy. That was until I bought the third book from Walmart, and came to realize that somebody was in it for the cash and there are more books on the way. He may be making all ze money, but Danielley is reaping all of the benefits.Christopher Paolini was homeschooled his entire life, started his debut novel at age fifteen, and became a NY Times Bestseller by the age of nineteen. He was born and raised in Montana, and as such it's totally epic landscape inspired the even more EPIC landscape of Alagaesia, where the three novels take place. In August 2003 Knopf Publishing took up the profitable challenge of publishing Eragon. This same publisher produced Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, & The Amber Spyglass), another one of my favorite series. In 2005 Eldest, the sequel, was published. And in 2006 the movie Eragon debuted. I haven't seen it. I've also been told under penalty of death not to watch it if you loved the book. So there's that. Early in 2007, while character developing and of course working on book numero tres, he decided that his original plot for the Eragon epic was too vast to contain in three volumes, and so the trilogy has been expanded. Andrew Markham, my faithful insider into the world of release on the third Inkheart book, has totally let me down. He should know things darn it! And on top of that he should've told me...I've been told that fans of JRR Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) and CS Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia) will enjoy these books. But as a devoted not-fan of either, I can easily say that they're much easier to read. Not to say that the Inheritance Trilogy... excuse me 'Inheritance Cycle' ... doesn't have a MYRIAD of vocabulary words. I wish that the extra credit oppurtunities from last year's TAG Lit carried over, because I'd easily be swimming in the 200% range. But in conclusion I'd like to recommend a few books for people who are tired of nothing but books about spoiled 90210 girls and vampires lol... Here's a few of my favorite books:

- Inkheart & Inkspell by Cornelia Funke (it's about a book that the characters come out of and it's basically the most awesome thing ever... the third book is on the way)- Eragon, Eldest, & Brisingr by Christopher Paolini (obviously lol)- The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, & The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman (it's like an alternate reality sort of thing. and different groups of people are trying to tear it all apart. if you've heard it's Atheist I strongly disagree that it's hardcore in any way... but it's your call)- The Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer (it's about a boy genius who also happens to be a criminal mastermind. it's pretty awesome when the protagonist is also an antagonist rofl. there's six books plus the secret guide with short stories and the graphic novel. there's also rumors that there's a movie on the way)- Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling (there's nothing to say lol they're AMAZING)
