I'm a freak. You know it. You love it.The Sims by EA games is not your average PC game line of the 21st century... For one, it doesn't revolve around violence. You can't beat it. And it actually has some intellectual value. The Sims started out as an architectural design program but soon escalated to a complete simulation of human interaction. Did I mention it's TOTALLY AWESOME!Between versions, the Sims line has dramastically improved. In the original Sims, you could only pick from default Sim designs for your characters, homes could only be two stories tall, and you could only use the furniture and appliances they gave you. In the Sims 2, you could completely design your characters, the Sims actually aged from babies to senior citizens, houses had no limits on stories, you could upload your own wall and floor designs, pick the different colors/styles of furnitures, basically, you could do anything. Except leave your own house. My friends may I introduce you to the newly improved version 3...New Seamless, Living Neighborhood — Your Sims explore the neighborhood freely.New Create A Sim — Create any Sim you can imagine.New Personality Traits — Every Sim is now a truly unique person, with a distinct personality.New Unlimited Customization — Everyone can customize everything.New Gameplay That’s Rewarding & Quick—There’s more to life for your Sims in The Sims 3.Finally, you can get out of your house and go around town, and from what I've gained from the website, the personality traits have basically exploded. Now your Sims can be more than just nice or playful, they can kleptomaniacs who are totally paranoid. Directly quoted from the website.Unfortunately, the Sims 2 can singlehandedly crash my outdated computer, so I can only imagine what the Sims 3 would do to this pile of poopy covered computer components. It takes 4 cds to install the Sims 2. The game is huge, and while I know there is no possible way for me to play the game, I am SO looking forward to the release in 2009.

  • I see.
  • Rofl. Well Mr. Bruns, I too have the Sims 2 on my PSP, and seriously, it does absolutely NO credit to the actual game. The PSP game gives you all these jobs and tasks to you, but the PC game is really more of an rpg. You can't really win... It's kind of like a website lol; the more effort you put into it the more you get out. Building the houses is my favorite. Lol. And you can COMPLETELY design the people. PSP game = BAD . PC gooood
  • I never got into The Sims. I tried it a few times on my PSP but it is just so menial.

And you're saying that Call of Duty 4 has no intellectual value? Boo to you!
