The South Gets Hit Again

Not to long ago the south was hit hard by hurricane Katrina. Katrina had ruined thousands of peoples lifes. Mostly including New Orleans along the coast.Bush has offically named parts of Florida including Monroe, and Brevard as a "major disaster" area. Meaning that they are eligible for federal funding. Hurricane Fay has been known as the storm that never ends. With the rain not slowing up parts of Florida are dealing with floods. Some areas have been reported to have already recieved twenty inches of rain. The rain is still coming and the damage right along with it. This weekend has been known as a tropical depression.Fay is blamed for eleven deaths. The storm has spent several days circling over florida and other parts of the south. Hopefully over the next few days the rain will let up and the damage will be easy to clean up.6dasarkel (Kelsey McDaniel)
