Well, today in class we went over the Europe map part of it that we have been going over. I felt that i knew many of the bigger countries and that i can take on Eastern Europe soon. I know a few of those countries, like Ukraine and Poland, but i would rather go over the ones we kinda know first before we venture to the other parts of Europe. After we went over Europe, we went to our Iran Blog that we did almost 2 weeks ago. I forgot what i did in class until he mentioned the topics. I did the US-Iran background. However, i found the most interest in the UN. I didnt know that the UN had too much of a say in anything, until I learned about the UN security council. Then, Bruns told us who runs the Security Council. I have to say, I was proud of it until I learned that France and China had a large say in it. I really dont like the fact that two very socialist countries, one of which actualy is communist, has a say in the promotion of freedom and liberty. This is absurd, because socialism takes away the things that we treasure the most. I really dont like either country, but I do like the fact that China is opening itself up more for freedom and democracy, something that France cant say.
