Marilyn Monroe - MSG

I took this picture in Madison Square Garden in New York City. This was one of the pictures posted on to the wall around the arena. On May 19th, 1962 Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday" to president John F. Kennedy at the time. After the performance Kennedy joined Marilyn on stage and said, "I can now retire from politics after having had Happy Birthday sung to me in such a sweet, wholesome way."
