The US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said that Washington will confront Russia after hearing from a top US military commander that Moscow is sending weapons to the Taliban, but had no evidence to support his claim. While at a press conference Mattis and General John Nicholson stated that they are continuing to get reports about Russia's assistance with the Taliban. Although the general never answered the question of what the Pentagon was going to do to stop Russian's from sending weapons.

I believe that the Pentagon will find a way to take care of it and I do believe that Russia is sending the weapons to the Taliban because even though there is no evidence, there is still a lot of people still reporting it.

They will probably continue to get evidence of what is happening..... then they will make the best move based on what is going on. They could be, idk why they would be. But if they are, they need to be stopped
they will ask russia and if that did not work they would take action agenst russia. and the taliban. i think this would not be the first time that russia did something like thie (i.e. seria)
I think the Pentagon will eventually think of a solution and apply their plan. I would need more information to be sure, but from right now since there is no apparent evidence I am guessing they are just rumors about the weapons, and even if they are doing this people could just be taking the issue completely out of proportion.
Keep monitoring the situation until they find out reliable info and see what action they should take upon that info. They could be, but we don't really know if they are then it would make sense why it is a bit harder to deal with them but then again we already had left over stuff they got their hands on. The only way we'd know is if they are carrying Russia army standard weaponry.
I would say they would try to stop the weapons from by having troops intercept them if confronting Russian officials didn't stop them. I believe that it is possible because they were once supporting them and could still be continuing their support.

I feel that the pentagon will send troops or not let the Taliban go to far with their plan. At least we already have an idea of what they are doing and how we could stop them early! I do believe russia is because they are a very untrustworthy country and do not have the best ties with us right now

I think that the Pentagon will try to figure out if the report they received is true and that they will try to figure out how to take care of the situation. I'm not sure if these reports are true or not, but there is a lot of people warning Trump about it, so there is a chance that what they're telling him is true.
