The Red Lake massacre motivation was because the shooter’s life was full of bullying, depression and from his own personal stress. Most of the school killings are mostly cause of either bullying or depression. The shooter was Jeffrey Weise an used a .40 caliber Glock 23 pistol, a Ruger .22 caliber pistol, and a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun. His grandfather was a cop and after killing him he took his weapons and this proves that background checks are not going to stop this from happening. The kid was 16 when he killed his grandfather and his grandfather’s girlfriend and the Red Lake reservation. The first person he killed after grandfather was a security guard at the entrance, a teacher, and then 5 students also wounding 5 others. Then he found a vacant room and then killed himself. Before he lived with his paternal aunts Shauna and Tammy Lussier and is said that he lived with them for several years before moving to is grandfather. His grandfather’s weapons were police-issued .40 caliber Glock and the Reminton 870 12 gauge shotgun and also a gun belt and a pullet proof vest. He shot his grandfather while he was asleep, two shots to the head and ten shots to the gut. Then, after taking all of the weapons, shot Sigana, his grandfathers girlfriend, two times in the head. Then going to school and killing the security guard went into a English class room and shot three people . Chase Lussier, who has no direct relation to Daryl Lussier, sheltered Ashley Lajeunesse. That is when Jeffery May, a 16 yearold sophomore wrestled wise inside the class room and stabbed him with a pencil. As he was doing that, it aloud other students to escape. That is when Weise to shoot May in the neck and once in the jaw but those shots were not fatal.
You know the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, well Weise asked one student if he believed in God. After the police arrived, Weise and policed shot at each other for four minutes. After being hit in the abdomen and the right arm he retreated to the vacant classroom. He leaned against the wall and shot himself with the shotgun. And that was the end of a life mostly because of bullying. So many kids have killed themselves because of bullying. STB.
