Rare Fanged Deer Spotted

A fanged deer species was spotted in Afghanistan for the first Time in 60 years. Its known as the Kashmir musk deer, it has two vampire like fangs that protrude out of the males mouth. The two fang like structures are used for sparring during mating season. The Kashmir musk deer is hunted for its sent glands which are used in perfumes and medicines which is causing them to go extinct.

I think that this deer is awesome having fangs and all.

What would you do to help save this species of deer?

If you saw this deer and didn't know what it was, what would you do?

  • Interesting story but you only replied once!!

  • Get the ol 12 gauge out

  • i think this deer is awesome too. If i saw this deer and didnt know what it was, i would probably take some pictures

  • To help save it I would just not allow any hunting on it and put a severe fine on any that are killed. I would take pictures of it not knowing what it is.

  • If I saw this and had no idea what it was i would probly take a picture and then watch it for awhile. I would try to protect it but it is very difficult to protect animals from poachers.

  • If I ever saw that deer I would try to take a picture. And maybe i would donate money to try to save them

  • I would donate whenever i had a chance to, and if I randomely saw this thing. If I were hunting and saw it I would hope to not mistake the rare species for a normal deer.

  • If I saw that deer I would run, it looks pretty sketchy with those fangs. I would probably put a limit on how many you can hunt per season or put a ban on hunting them at all.

  • Probably donate to WWF or raise awareness. If I saw a saber tooth deer I would probably take a picture and run.

  • I would take it to an area where it is guarded and other almost extinct animals could go and protect it there.
