Nigerian School Attack

In Damaturu, Nigeria about 40 students were killed on a pre dawn attack. Some kids were burned alive or they would slit their throats if they tried getting away. Most of the kids were just shot. The females students were spared in the attack. Soldiers are still gathering the bodies so could be more than just 40. They say they cant tell when this will happen again, you cant sleep with your eyes closed in Nigeria. Thousands of families have lost family members, businesses, their belongings, also their houses. Everybody is living in fear.

I can't imagine living life in fear everyday like that. I'm thankful I don't have watch by back like that.

Can you imagine living life like that, or not being able to sleep at night?

  • Better job replying in this post!

  • It's sad to hear so many stories of innocent people getting killed all the times, and it's even worse that they were kids.  I feel very bad for the kids that were burned to death.  If I were in that situation and had the choice I would rather get shot than burn.

  • I'm glad that I am not from a country like that where people die for no reason. Oh wait, there are shootings here too so wherever you live there will be danger.

    • This is very true!

  • I wouldn't like to live like this every day, because you never know what could happen.

    • I agree with you!

  • I would be driven crazy from being so paranoid.

  • That's sad to those people have to live in fear. I could never do that. I like to sleep in peace and not be thinking "I might die today."

  • I cant imagine living like that. I would probabaly be able to sleep but maybe not as well

  • This is very scary and sad. I am happy I live in a place where I dont have to fear this while trying to sleep. This would be terrible.
