KSI VS Logan Paul Rematch

KSI and Logan Paul are two very well known social media stars. Through internet beef and trash talking they ending up boxing in what was known to be the biggest event of internet history where the fight ended in a majority draw. So like most big fights they scheduled a second fight or a rematch. This rematch occurred saturday night at around 11 pm central time. It was available to buy on an app called DAZN for 20 dollars. The fight took placed in a sold out Staples Arena in LA California. The fight lasted six rounds. During the fourth round Paul had a contraversial knock down. It appeared he hit KSI on the back of the head as he was falling. This then led to a two point reduction from Paul. This ultimetely cost him the fight. THe judges final score cards read 56-55 in favor of Paul, 57-54 KSI, and 56-55 in favor of KSI. Making KSI the winner by split decision. It is considered to be contraversial because if you do the math that is what cost Logan the fight. People are in an outrage because the last time two points were taken away in a professional fight was when Mike Tyson bit someone's ear off.  Click here to read more

Do you think that Paul should have gotten two points taken away? Why or Why Not?

Did you watch the fight? If not had you heard anything about the fight leading up to it?

Do you think the ref is to be blamed for the loss against Logan?

  • I heard about this fight, but I honestly didn't pay attention to it at all. I really don't care. If Logan broke the rules then it was the right choice to take the 2 point from him. Like I said I didn't watch the fight, so I don't know what all went down. If the ref made the call then its the right call.

  • I've heard some about this fight but I didn't watch the first one and I haven't watched this latest one. I think if the points were taken away because he did something to break the rules then the ref was right, but the ref might've made a mistake also. I can't say for sure.

  • If he broke any rules then it's his fault for the deduction but I don't think it's comparable to the Mike Tyson fight. I didn't know anything about this until I read this post because I don't watch either of their videos and I don't even know who KSI is. The refs call it as they see it and know the rules so I think they are in the right.

  • I have heard about his fight, but I honestly do not like to watch it. Well, refs always can make mistakes because we are all human but refs most of the time are right. I don't really like any of the Paul brothers, so I honestly think that it's fine only if the two points that were taken away were fair.

  • I dont think it should of because some boxers fight dirty all the time and it could have very well be a violation but ut doesn't seem like enough for a two point reduction. I had heard about it and i didn't really care much but i heard that it was supose to be a good fight.

  • I’m Personally not a huge fan of Logan Paul so I’m fine with him having the two points taken away from him. No I did not watch the fight but I did hear people talking about it the day of the fight. I don’t know much about fights like this one but I am pretty sure there are judges and refs and the winner is decided by the judges so, no I do not believe the refs should be blamed.

  • 1.  - I didn't really follow up on this, or hear much about it but from my understanding the judges might have been biased against Paul and therefore deducted him those 2 points which obviously cost him the match. In the end, I'm not really sure if he should've gotten those points but I do think that it was maybe a biased situation.

    2. - As mentioned before, I didn't watch it nor had I heard a lot about it beforehand.

    3. - No, I think that he was just doing his job and that he got caught up in all of this because he was the one that made the call. In the end, it should be at the hands of judges because they gave the points and ultimately decided the outcome of the match.

  • I don't think that Logan Paul should have had two points taken away. Because if the last time 2 points was taken away was when an ear was bitten off, then something as little as an extra punch after the knockdown shouldn't cost him 2 points.

  • No, I don't care all that much, this whole two youtubers box thing is kinda pointless to me. I never really cared about either one of these youtubers, but I suppose the calls should be more fair towards BOTH of them, not biased towards one or the other.

No, I had not heard anything about the fight leading up to it because I have no regard for stupid things.
