On Thursday night on the Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel talked about the Parkland shooting that killed 17 people and hostpilzed 12 people. Jimmy showed the clip of Trump’s speech on the how no parent or kids should live in fear and agreed with him on that, but also called Trump out saying he has done nothing to solve this problem. Jimmy broke down in tears saying “Children are being murdered. Do something.” Jimmy also mentioned that there have been 8 school shooting this year already, yet no one has done anything with gun control.

I do because all congress does is blame it on mental health and doesn’t do much to help. I mean after all shooting they keep saying they're going to do something but don’t anything with gun control.

Yes I do because for the fact that there has been 8 school shootings this year already and February is not even over yet. The fact that a person with a mental health can get a hold of a gun that easily then we should put a stronger law on guns.

1. Yes I do, because it's the truth. Right now, the country is dividing about yet one more issue that is gun control, and the government hasn't stepped forward to do something yet. There have been 8 shootings and something needs to happen ASAP.
2. Yes, of course. Banning guns isn't the answer, since those who want them will be able to smuggle them anyway and it could even cause the number of shootings to increase. I just think that more restrictions should be in place.
I don't really know, to be honest..I think there should be more backround checks on people, but even then, how are you suppose to know what someone is going to do with a gun? Knowing someone's mental illness historymight help, but you can't get all of your information from that. I think it's a people problem more than a gun problem, but I do think stricter backround checks could help.
I think gun control should be changed to be more strict because of all the shootings and so forth, but I also understand Trump's point of view on how difficult if would be to change and how to do it.
I do agree that something needs to be done. This is wrong and has gone on for long enough. I don't know exactly what they would change for gun control, but I hope they do something and for the better.
Yes, I do he's right why should we live in fear to be out in the open. I think something needs to be done. We haven't had this much go wrong with guns in a while. So why is it happening now? Why is nothig being done? Yes, I do maybe people need to leave there guns at home or maybe they need to be cheacked when they go into public places.

I just partly agree with Jimmy. Of course, I want the shootings to stop and I want people to live their lives without fear; that's the point where I agree with him. On the other side, He makes it look like it's Trump's fault, which might be true at some point, but I think that its also the governments fault and maybe even the gun sellers fault. These people should be more curious and concerned about whom they give a gun and whom better not.
Yes, I do agree with what Jimmy is saying. We are constantly talking about it, and we have been talking about it for a while not. But as of today we have gotten nothing accmoplished but arguing. If nothing gets done about it, school shootings are going to continue to happen.
