JFK Assassination

It’s been 60 years since America's youngest president; John F. Kennedy was assassinated. John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, and raised in Brooklyn Massachusetts. He was the 35th president of the United States and ran for the Democratic party, and his vice president was Lydon B. Johnson.  John Fitgelrd Kennedy was in his third term of his presidency, he started in 1961 and his term ended in 1963 when he died. Johnson. He was assassinated on November 22, 1963. This happened when JFK was touring the state of Texas with his wife First Lady Jackie Onassis and the Governor of Texas John Connally when he was assassinated.

JFK was 46 years old when he was shot and killed. He was riding in one of Henry Ford's presidential Lincolns, which were leased to the white house for residential use. JFK was assassinated by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald. Just two days after the assassination a local nightclub owner found and shot Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963. No one has any clue as to why Oswald killed JFK, nobody knows the motive or the reason behind it to this day. People have many thoughts as to if Lee Harvey Oswald was working alone, or if he had help.

Some people believe Lyndon B. Johnson the vice president had something to do with it. Personally, I believe that Oswald worked alone on this one, I think he didn’t like JFK as a president and wanted to eliminate him or take him out of office.

Do you think Lee Harvey Oswald did this alone?

What would your reaction be if someone was shot right next to you?

Have you heard of the JFK assasination? If so do you have any conspiracy theories?

  • I think that he would have defiently had to have someone help him on this assassination because it's way to hard to do this all by yourself.  I think my reaction if someone got shot next to me would be to run and hide somewhere safe. I have not heard of any of the comspiracies to go along with it.

  • I think that he would have had to have someone either on watch or help him with the mission. my reaction if someone got shot next to me would be to hide or run. I have heard of the JFK assassination and I don't have any conspiracies to go along with it.

    • My reaction would be the same, I would be scared to death, I think I would have a heart attack or something.

  • I saw part of a documentary  about the assisnation once and picked up on a few conspiracys but it's hard to say for sure if any of them could be true. I would be apsolutly shocked if someone was shot next to me.

  • I think that their was more than just one person involved. I would be in shock and not know what to think. I have heard of the JFK assasination but I am not sure if I have heard conpracies about it.

  • I have heard about the JFK assassination but I have never heard of any conspiracy theory. I would be terrified and think I was next but I don't know what my first reaction would be. I think if he did he had help from other people who were close to him.

    • Yes! I didn't know much about the cold war before I did this Forum post, it's interesting and scary.

  • I think that there was more people invovled as i feel it would be hard to assasinate a president by themselves. I am not sure what my reaction would be, i would probably freak out or think i was also shot. I have heard of the JFK assasination and i have heard some conspiracys that it was actually his gaurd that shot him on accident.

  • I think any assanation, much less a presidental assasination, could be carried out alone. I believe he acted in a group, but ultimately was the one who fired the fatal shot. I've heard a lot of conspiracy theories about the assasination, but none that have been proven to be credible.

    • I completely agree with you, one person carrying out an assassination isn't crazy to do.
