Alton Nolen age of 30 was fired from a food processing plant in Moore Oklahoma. When he was fired he drove to the front of the business and crash into another vehicle got out of his car entered the building and attacked the first person he saw with a knife which happened to Coleen Hufford he eventually beheaded the woman. After that he then encountered his second victim Traci Johnson who was attacked with the same weapon. When the head operator of the company noticed him attacking Traci he then shot Nolen. they were both transported to the hospital and are in stable condition. The investigation on Alton Nolen is still pending. I want to know why he got so mad for being fired and I also think he had just gone way to far.

He might have been fired for an unfair reason or maybe he really needed that job.

He probably worked there for a long time and got fired for a unfair reason.
I think he got he mad because he knew that he would now have to find another job and start at the bottom again for pay. I also think that there were some unknown mental issues involved, that he himself didn't even know about.
I know about this story from outside of class and a member of my church who use to live in this area and has friends there. Alton was islamic and had been trying to force the people around his workplace to convert. He was eventually fired for his efforts, and began to follow a few, actually a lot, of the Quran verses in response. Also, it was a security guard who shot Alton, and had to go out to his car to get a firearm. (Which raises the point of how ineffective an unarmed security guard is during an active emergency)
The woman from my church has said that there is a large population of both Christians and muslims in the area of Oklahoma, and tensions have been growing. My guess is that more incidents like this will happen, in other places in the states as well.

Most likely mentally insane because a normal person wouldn't go around beheading people unless they had a purpose. When he was fired it must of triggered some really pent up emotions causing him to behead someone.
That person has something mentally wrong with them, and getting fired just triggered that emotion they had.
I think that he was mentally unstable and that getting fired made him snap and go psychotic.
