When a concrete technologist asked Professor Jonkers if it would be possible to use bacteria to make self-healing concrete.It took Jonkers three years to crack the problem -- but there were some tricky challenges to overcome."You need bacteria that can survive the harsh environment of concrete," says Jonkers. "It's a rock-like, stone-like material, very dry." From this material we can create buildings, sidewalks, etc. that will never crack from time and can repair itself.

I think that the government should fund this, because it could change our whole life. Buildings wouldn't become unstable it their foundation developed a crack and less people would fall on a sidewalk.
Many peoples' mothers' backs won't be broken as well. This is a good invention

This is a very cool idea. A concrete that repairs itself? That's pretty cool. It would be worth it if like a building or a sidewalk cracks and it repairs itself.
It could also be used to permanently repair older buildings which would be very useful
This would help a lot with time and money. People are always repairing concrete when it cracks a lot. I think it would be a good idea. IT would help save up from redoing all of the roads.
