A four year old boy was returning to his home after his father's funeral when he jumped out of the back seat of a car when he seen his mother standing outside when he was hit by a van. He was rushed to the hospital with severe head trauma, but his injuries were too severe and he was pronounced dead on arrival. The police are ruling it to be an accident even though the driver of the van did not stop. He was questioned by the police.

Do you think this sounds like an accident?

Could you handle putting your husband/ wife to rest then having to deal with the loss of your baby?

  • Good job replying but be sure to stay away from yes/no questions.

  • That is weird, I don't understand why he would jump out of a moving car, but then again, the loss of a loved one would definitely effect your thinking and judgment.

    • He's four though he doesn't have the best judgement anyway though you've got to think about it that way

  • I do think it was a accident no one made him jump. it would be sad to have 2 deaths in a family in a few days.

  • that is unfortunate... Hopefully the driver is punished according and the mother can cope with her losses

  • I thin it was an accident cause who would plan to do that to a little kid. As for the lose it would be unimaginable.

  • I think was an accident. I feel terrible for that family. To lose two family members especially in that sort of way. Just terribly sad.

  • I don't know why this would be on purpose and why the person didn't stop after hitting him. It's sad to think that the lady had to put up with her husbands funeral then a little while later witness another tragic event.

  • I think this sounds like an accident. The driver may have been distracted and the boy could have been just focused on getting to his mother and didn't see the van coming and jumped. I would hate to have to lose two people in one day. Especially two family members that i was close to.
