I think as long as they stay on solar power they are better for the Earth but if you are going for speed you should go for gas.
I think they could be good and bad beacuse they ware out in so little time and it also takes so much time to fill the battery and they also cost so much. I would rather have a gas powered car. I don't have a car right now because I can't drive yet.
