Oak Hill Cemetery is located just south of Irwin. The first burials there were John McKeever, his wife, and daughter Mary in 1867 when they died of small pox. The McKeever's had lived in a log structure on the site and were then laid to rest on the hill and that's how it came to be a cemetery.
