Should there be a restriction on owning a gun or buying a gun? The reason why people buy guns is mostly for protection if someone breaks into your house, or people just have them, or people go hunting so they need guns in order to hunt. But there are some reasons why some people shouldn’t own them. Like some shouldn’t have guns, either they had trauma in the past or don't know anything about guns. But what are some of the restrictions people should follow when selling guns to people.
One restriction people should definitely follow is how old they are. Because obviously selling a gun to a kid could go very wrong. Kids would have no idea how to use it and could be dangerous because he could accidentally shoot and go off and hit someone. Some people still say the age restriction is still too low and they need to make it older. Because there are still young people around the world that go around shooting people for no reason.
A second restriction on why people should maybe own a gun is did they have any trauma in the past or don’t know anything about it. First is if they have their trauma with guns it is best not to let them have one. Either they could really get scared of them especially when guns are loud or they really just don’t want a gun. But for the people who don’t know how to use it, they really should get some training beforehand or not use a gun for their safety.
That’s some of the reason why I think that guns should be more restrictive, because it could go really bad for some people. Making it more restricted makes people's lives safer and nice. By either lowering the age or thinking about the person's life. But what do you think about this?

Good topic choice Jose! I would have liked to have seen more information on the current gun laws that the US has on guns. Posted one day late.
Some thing I would change about the gun restrictions is having a background checks. they should be more stricter and their should be more limits on certain types of weapons. However people should still have the right to own guns for protection and hunting.
I think there should be some restrictions when purchasing a firearm. Because, it can help people defend themselves in serious situations such as home invasions. Obviously it can used for hunting and things of that nature. But with restrictions there will be fewer shootings and less violenece, making communities safer for everyone.
I think people should be able to own guns with few restrictions because having more armed citizens makes society safer. If law-abiding people have guns, they can protect themselves and others from criminals who don't follow the law. When criminals know people can defend themselves, they are less likely to commit crimes like home invasions or robberies.
I think that there shouldn't be a gun restriction becuase many people want them for safety and hunting. So many people hunt around the world which calls for so many people having a gun or needing a gun. Also people think that there home will stay more safe if they have a gun in it.
I agree with you on how guns are important for hunting, but I think that is one of the least important reasons why we should have them. They are extremely important for our protection from criminals. Also, allowing citizens to have guns allows them to keep the government in check. This protects them from government overreach such as one person having all the power.
I think we should be able to have guns. Many people want protection or have past trauma from something, and they would like a gun to make them feel better. Also guns are a great way of defense if anything were to happen. Also militias played a role in America winning in our revolutionary war that gave us our independence, those would never have been formed without guns.
Yea i agree with you but i don't think people with past trauma with guns should own one because they could make decisions with that gun that would affect them for the rest of their lives
I very strongly think that we should be able to have guns. Many people hunt and when hunting guns are a very high necessity to do what is needed to get the job done. Hunting is very loved around the world and they can't just take guns from everyone. There is not much I would change about gun restrictions.
I agree with you I think that our ability to have guns the reason why we can have hobbies like hunting, and others of the sorts. So I can see more as to why we should keep guns.
