The US vice-president walked out of the an NFL game when several players refused to stand during the US National Anthem. He told reporters, he couldn't be present at an event with such disrespect to our soldiers and flag. He then made the decision to abandon the game in his home state of Indiana. President Trump had told Pence to leave if he ever was in this situation and Pence followed through with that task. President Trump then tweeted out that he was proud of Pence. Kneeling at NFL games has become a form of protest racial injustice. President Trump has criticized player for the protests and pressed the NFL to banned this. His with-drawl from the game came after player of the San Francisco 49ers refused to stand during the Anthem before playing against the Indianapolis Colts. Pence had tweeted before the game that he was excited and looking forward to it with his family. He also told reporters "While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I don't think it's too much to ask NFL players to respect the flag," .
1. What is your opinion on kneeling?
I think personally it is very disrespectful to see people do this because you should stand in honor of the men and women risking their lives for the land you are living on.
2. Do you think the NFL will ever ban this from happening?
I don't see the NFL making any big chances to stop this only because it is one persons opinion to stand or not I also think it would start a lot of drama that they don't want.

Great job Abi! Good story choice!
I think that it is very disrespectful. I think you should stand for the people who fought for your country. I don't think they will ban it because it is the players tight to kneel during the anthem.
I think it is very disrespectful to the men and women risking their lives for us and we need to stand and honor their time they have served.
I think that people should stand and suck it up; they should find some other way to protest instead of disrespecting America in the process. They are disrespecting people who risked their lives to save theirs. I don't really see the NFL doing that much about it because what are they going to do? fire all of the football players? They probably won't want to deal with it, which is a shame because what they are doing is not okay.
I agree that players should just stand and hold there peace through the song, its not hard to stand and respect the countries flag. They are showing little respect to those who have risked their lives for us and the NFL is going to stand behind their players because its their right to stand up for what they believe in.
I personally think its disrespectful, mostly because they are not honoring everyone that has died. I dont believe that the NFL will ban this from happening because they are standing, pun intended, for what they believe.
It is rude to those fight for us and we should stand in honor, and the NFL has its freedom to do whatever they want and this is a opinion/right to all players and coaches so there isnt much anyone can do because it not harming anyone physiclly.
I think it's so rude to the country since the flag represents freedom. There are people who have died serving this country and those people are kneeling against them. I don't see NFL banning this since most of the players and coaches are doing this but I think they'll change it since most of the fans are getting upset.
It is rude. The flag resembles the freedom of our country and people are showing great disrespect to our country. The NFL most likely isnt gonna make a big chance because coaches and player have their rights and they probably dont think of how others feel or will react about it.
I think it is very disrespectful, and I know it's a big deal but I think everyone just needs to stop talking about it, because I think the players are doing some of this for attention. I don't think they will because I have a feeling all of this will stop shortly.
