Climate change is an occurring state of world devastation and "causes the weather" to be worse, hotter or colder each year. The reason people think climate change is real is because of what us humans do like factories polluting the air and water just like vehicles putting carbon monoxide in the air. The reason people think it isn't real is because of politics. People are so political for a person that they believe every single thing that person says. Climate change can change weather patterns, raise temps, raise the sea level, disrupt ecosystems, and can change human health.
I believe climate change can change the world in a lot of ways. Climate changes the sea levels to go up 6-8 inches in the past 100 years, which means .14 inches per year. The way it makes the temperature go up is the burning of fossil fuels and us humans releasing greenhouse gasses, and the temp has gone up more than 1 degree in the span of 10 years in iowa which may not seem like a lot but in 50 years over 5 degrees will be added to Iowa's temp. It disrupts ecosystems by causing shifts in species like dolphins or chimpanzees, another reason is because it increases the intensity of the weather causing animals to not be able to live where they once lived.
It changes us too by giving us less air to breathe because of all those factories putting gases in the air and cars putting carbon monoxide into the sky. Carbon monoxide can also kill the plants because of the harsh climate conditions it gets into like hurricanes, tornadoes, forest fires, and flash floods. It can ruin the food we eat too by killing the plants we use for food and then the animals don't have anything to eat causing the animals to die and the animals that we eat die causing us to die but that won't happen for a long long time.

Good topic choice and well done overall Ben! I would have to liked to have seen you discuss what scientists think on both sides of this debate.
We 100% need to slow down on pollution, and start doing things that are more eco-friendly. Right now we are progressing at a rate where everything will be run by technology in the next 50 years or so. We need to make it so that the earth is not unlivable in the next 50 years or so.
I think that it is a lot to worry about, we need to be catious for the future. So that there is even a place livable for the people in the upcoming hundreds of years. Because at this rate there probably will not be a place for them to call home.
I think we should slow down polluting ait because that effects everything on earth. The animals,plants,and even us. If we don't slow down on polluting the air soon the air wont even be safe anymore and everybody will have to wear mask.
I agree, it's not that it is effecting the earth that much right now, but it is going to effect it a bunch in the future. When dealing with these types of issues we need to worry about the future, just as much as we worry about what is happening right now.
I think that climate change has affected the world. Like polar bears or any other animal In Antarctica, the ice is melting due to climate change and soon they won't be able to live there and they might even go extinct in the furture.
I do think climate change affects the world defiently and it is something we should be worrying about. Even though it isnt affecting us personaly and we might not be able to notice cimate change at all. It is what causes more dramatic winters and summer and also is causing the polar ice caps to melt and ruining animals environments. I do think companies should slow down polutining the air for future generations and animals.

I think everyone as a population should try to pollute the air, and the earth less. Buying electric cars would be a good start to polluting the air less because they don't let off the carbon emissions that gas cars do. Some people though, don't like the idea of cars being electric. They prefer to stay in their gas cars because they know that they are reliable and some electric cars are too expensive.
