Tropical storms are formed by tropical waves, these tropical waves are low-pressure areas that move through tropical areas. These tropical waves fuel and modify the thunderstorms and showers. When these waves move towards the west, the air from the warm oceans will rise, which causes even more air to enter the clouds and thunderstorms. The water condenses in the clouds, forming water droplets which release more heat to fuel the storm.
A Hurricane known as Hurricane Oscar was originally a tropical storm but eventually became a hurricane. This Hurricane is said to set foot in Cuba, and many people in Cuba don't have power so they don't have any idea of knowing if a hurricane will take place. This Hurricane is also supposed to set foot in The Bahamas and eventually veer off into the North. Hurricane Oscar has the smallest storm eye of this year and is a very small hurricane. There is a chance that the smallest amount of wind shear (A change in wind speed/direction) could destroy the hurricane or throw it off course.
I think that tropical storms and hurricanes will continue to grow and will not get thrown off course by wind shear. I think these storms will hit Cuba and The Bahamas and will cause damage, but will not be too devastating due to the size of the hurricane.
Questions:
1.) Do you think wind shear will throw Hurricane Oscar off course?
2.) Do you think the Hurricane will be that serious?

I think that climate change and global warming have a massive effect on the weather (hurricanes, tropical storms and etc). Also, if global warming gets any worse we can lose thousands of lives due to hurricanes and we will just keep spending money on the repair of those catastrophes.
I feel like wind shear will throw weaker hurricanes of course but not stronger since they have more power. I think this is a serious hurricane because hurricanes are always devastating and cause he lot of damage. If I was down there I would get out of there because most of the time they are devastating.
I believe that global warming can cause hurricans to progressively get worse, which causes more lives to lose, more houses to lose, and more cost having to remake everything. I that hurricans can be very serious.
I think that the wind COULD blow the storm off course, but there is probably a chance of it hitting cuba and the bahamas. I think that the hurricane is a bit unpredictable and should still be taken seriously and with caution.
I think the wind could for sure effect the corse of the Hurricane. I believe that no matter how small the storm is, as long as there is damage of some sort it is serious. I know that If i was in the storm i wouldn't be going outisde just incase.
I agree, even if the storm isn't very big, it has to be big enough or have fast enough winds to be considered a hurricane. If it is a hurricane it can still cause damage and is still dangerous.
I think it has the possibility of thowing hurricane Oscar off course because if wind is blowing hard enough it can easily change the flow of air. I would advise that people take it serious because you never know when it can change from a tropical storm to a category 5.
I feel like the wind shear might throw a tropical storm off there path, because it can change the pattern in which the direction that it was supposed to go. Hurricans are very serious and life-threatening, which wouldn't make this one any different.
I agree, but I still think the hurricane will not be affected, but there is always a chance that it could be thrown off.
I think that hurricanes could extermly deadly and can destroy homes and land. Hurricanes are no jokes, if people get a hurricane warring on there phones or on the t.v. People should imdently take cover or sheek shelter in oder to stay safe and not get hurt by the hurricanes.
