On March 2nd at around 9:00 am a gunman opened fired at a central michigan university. They say he opened fire on 2 people who were not students on Campbell Hall on Campus and successfully hit both. It was realeased that both people were shot have died due to their injuries. All they currently know about the suspect is that he is a 19 year-old black male who they consider 'armed and dangerous'. There were no additional injuries and they believe that it was a domestic violence case rather than a school shooting. It was later realeased almost 2 hours after the shooting that the shooter was James Eric Davis, JR. All schools currently in the Mount Pleasent public schools are in a 'lock down' mode in which all interior doors are locked and blinds drawn as well as no one is allowed inside.
If you were in school and heard the shots what would you do?
I would probably be a little freaked out and try and find a way out while trying to get ahold of police.
What would be your reaction if someone threatening to start shooting people because of an argument? What if they actually did?
I would try to help calm the situation down and try and keep the people from doing anything rash that would harm somebody.

I would try to calm everyone in the situation down and tell the guy that, that doesn't need to happen and that there are other ways to try to work with what you belive in because of the argument. I would be very dissipointed in the person and i would be very worried for my family.
I would be very freaked out and worried. I would probably try to contact the police first of all then think about what the best couse of action would be with the prospct of getting out of the school and to saftey, I would also want to try to make sure all my siblings were ok.
If i heard gun shots in school i'd call the police and run making sure to avoid the shooter, and with my life being threated i'd use my ability to the best to calm the shooter down and if possible get the gun away from them.
If I were in school and listened to the shots, I would be scared a little and look for a safe and remote place to stay, until police come. If I listened to an argument, I would report that person to an adult, to help, and with all that has happened in other schools is better to prevent.
If I were in that situation I would've booked it to my car and gotten out of there. I ain't dealing with a shooting. I would probably just end up beating up the guy. Like this guy is super dumb. Why would to threaten to shoot someone over an argument.
I would get under something as soon as possible and just try and keep quiet from things so it doesn’t draw tension to the area I am at . I will try and stay calm trailer situation maybe talking through them to calm down and just take a breath but then if they reacted differently I would most likely just freak out and run but then that could lead to worse things .
If I was in the shcool at the time of the shooting then I probably would try to get out and leave or if they were already in the buliding then I would try to find somewhere safe to go or hide somewhere thats safe. If they were seriously threating then I would probably report it because what has been happening in the world with all the shcool shootings.
I would try to find shelter or any way to escape safely. I would try to tell the person that it is just an argument and try and calm them down.
Being in school and hearing shots would absolutely terrify me. I think the first thing I would do is text my mom and my cousin, to make sure everything was okay with them, and then figure out what needs to do.
If people were threating to shoot people because of an argument, I would try and calm down the agressor, and figure out a way to better the situation. If they actually did shoot, I really think I would be in awe and not be sure with what I would do.
