Woodman's Pal invention blog

The woodman's pal is a machete with the power of an axe and is designed for cutting firewood, splitting kindling, blaze trails, and build hunting blinds or lean-to shelters. It is designed 100% by Americans, and American materials and made in Pennsylvania. Its light in weight and the range is about as long as your forearm from elbow to knuckles. The blade wont crack or chip even in cold weather.

The Woodman's Pal was know in 1941 as the Jungle Fighting Knife and was used by marines and other GI's in the Pacific Theater. The leather handle is like holding a pine tarred baseball bat. Frederick Ehrsam, a swiss national introduced the Woodman's Pal in forestry, agriculture, and horticulture. And this was all i found on the Woodman's Pal.
