Due to the twin towers get attack by american airlines, when the government re-open the airlines, they had much tougher security. So people couldn't hijack more planes. National land marks and monuments were closed down for a while due to potential attacks. Pro and college sports were delayed because they didn't think it was right. But then they realized, entertainment is what gets people thru times like this. Talk shows like Jay Leno were also delayed because they make must of their jokes about politics and they just didn't think it was necessary at that time. Patriotism improveded. The democrat and the republican party were getting along.
