We talked about not having that test thing for the points at the beginning of class. I researched some of the topics for the debate we're going to have, including immigration, the death penalty, environmental laws, and gun control.The republican views on immigration are that we should have very tight borders and eliminate amnesty, as it helps illegals and motivates them to enter our country. Death penalty- We should have a death penalty, one, to get rid of those seriously bad people, and two, to remind people what happens when they do really bad things. Republicans are very much for the protection of the environment. Gun control- We should have bigger areas to hunt, and we shouldn't have to have a license on guns. Every person should have a right to bear arms. Republicans also want lower taxes.
