I was assigned Al-Qaeda for the blog this week. Today we went over Mr. Bruns' JFK powerpoint again.Lee Harvey Oswald was in the military and received sharp shooter status. Married Marina and had a daughter, June in the Soviet Union. He beat her as well.Oswald shot JFK from the Texas School Book Depository. Oswald put boxes in the window so people would not see him as well. He used the mannlicher carcano to shoot Jack. Oswald carried the gun in a paper bag, and said they it was curtain rods. He also walked way ahead of Buell Frazier which was unusual.After Oswald shot JFK, he left and went to an apartment and got a different gun. Police officer, JD Tippet, confronted Oswald because he thought he matched the description, and Oswald shot him. He then went to a shoe store and hid in there, and he then left, and went to the Texas Theatre. He fought other officers before arrested at the theatre.Interrogation of Will Fritz took many hours and got lots of information. Oswald said he was a patsy, which means he was set-up and he was not the only guy involved. He acted like all he did was kill the police officer, didn't know he was being accused of president.He was being transferred to a different jail, and Jack Ruby came up and shot him. Dallas Police was criticized greatly for letting people in. Jack Rubenstein changed his name to Ruby because he was Jewish, and Jews were not accepted very well. He was a strip club owner, and took doughnuts to the police and always talked with them. He was listening to the radio and heard that Oswald was being transferred, and he had his dog with him. He just went to the police station, and he had a gun with him, like most people did. He said he did it for Jackie, but that's all he said. Conspiracies say that he shot him to keep him quiet.The Warren Report investigated the Kennedy Assassination, and says LHO was the only man involved. It states that the shots were fired from the sixth floor, and found three shells. Connally says he was hit from a different bullet than the one that hit JFK's throat. It says that LHO and Jack Ruby were not part of a conspiracy, Oswald acted alone.Oswald said the picture with the rifle was doctored (fake), but Marina admitted to taking those pictures.
