Today, we talked about how we get donuts tomorrow because the dow closed at over 10,000. We talked about what the dow is, the average of the 30 largest publicly owned companies and how well they do when they trade. Then we talked a lot about the death penalty. It was ruled unconstitutional in the '70s, so only three people were executed. Iowa doesn't have the death penalty, but Nebraska does. Only 1% of people executed have have been women. Then we started talking about gay marriage. A lot of states still don't have it. only several states allow gay marriage, but more states allow unions and domestic partnerships. Anti-gays would think that that is perfectly fine, they're getting rights of married people. But the gays feel that they aren't getting the same rights as married people, and that's not what's in the constitution.
