Taliban also Taleban means "students". They are a group mainly of religous and political movements in Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001. They are almost all 100% Muslim. There main allies are Al-Qaeda. The leaders were removed from power by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) people. The Taliban have regrouped since 2004 and they don't believe in the government controlling things. They were fighting a guerilla war against the governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan, who allied NATO forces. This war is in Afghanistan and Frontier Tribal Areas of Pakistan. The original commanders were small-unit military commanders and madrasah teachers. Madrasah teachers are a Arabic word for any type of educational teacher religious or not religion.
