Today Mr. Bruns continued his JFK presentaion...Grassy KnollPeople thought that they heard something coming from the grassy knoll area. The people that heard it thought there were gun shots coming from that area, but the Warren Commision said it was just echos.Watergate EffectWatergate was a hotel office thing. These plumbers were looking for some juicy information on the democrats to blackmail them. They broke into this building to look through files. The goal was to get Richard Nixon to get re-elected. Nixon did everything in his power to hide this scandal because he know nothing about it and he didn't want people to think it happened and had anything to do with him. We do not beleive that Nixon ordered the break-in. In the mid to late 1970s roughly 80% of all US citizens thought that there was a conspiracy in the Kennedy assassination. We will not be asked anything about watergate on the testHouse Select Committee On Assassination-1979 ReportThe goals of this committe were to find out who the assassins were, just assassin(s) have help before or after the assassination of JFK. Major conclusions of this report were Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots, the second and third shots fired hit the president, the third shot hit the president. Scientific acoustical evidence establishes a high probability that two gunmen fired at JFK. The committe beleives that JFK was probably assassinated out of a conspiracy, but they had really no evidence to thuroughly back this up. Beleived the Soviet Gov't was not involved, the Cuban Gov't was not involved, the anti-Castro Cuban groups did not as a group kill JFK, beleives that there was no involvement with the mafia, Secret Service, or CIA. The committe further concluded that it was probible that four shots were fired, the third shot came from a second assassin located on the grassy knoll, but missed. The HSCA agreed with the single (magic) bullet theory. but concluded that it occured at a time point during the assassination that differed from any of the several time points the Warren Commission theorized it occurred. They beleived that President Kennedy did not receive adequate protection. The Three TrampsThese three guys were tramp homeless dudes that were dressed pretty nice to be tramps. This conspiracy now is basically dead. The of the guys that looked like these other two guys were mistaken for watergate burglars and this is kinda really confusing.Richard NixonMr. Bruns thinks that Nixon would have been one person able to get by with an assassination like this one. Nixon was a very interesting guy, he was very paranoid. He thought that everyone was out to get them, Nixon hated people, which further ruined him. Nixon was in Dallas, Texas the morning of the Kennedy assassination. An interview with him made it seem like he already knew it was gonna happen. Richard hated the Kennedy's. He became president a few years after Kennedy was killed. He was meeting with some business and that was why he was in Dallas that week... like Coke or Pepsi or something. Mr. Bruns thinks that Kennedy was looking to put a tax on oil or sugar or something which would not be good for a lot of rich people in Texas.JFK ActCongress passed the President Jofn F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, mandation the gathering and opening of all records concerned with the death of the President Kennedy.James FilesThis dude admitted that he was a second gunman in the assassination of JFK. He was given specific intructions on how to kill Kennedy. Basically he was put in as backup. Files claims have creates heated debates in JFK's assassination. Critics claim that he has changed the stories multiple times and the gun description in not accurate.THE END!
