Today Mr. Bruns was gone at a teachers meeting, so we had a sub. We were to work on our blog topics. I learned that president Obama lived in Indonesia for a few years of his life. His mom would get up at 4:30 in the morning and give him educational lessons before she went to work. She gave these lesson because she never had enough money to send him to school.It makes me think of how fortunate I am to not have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning and learn things from my mother. It also makes me think about how lucky I am to have an opportunity to go to school and get an education.
