Monday- We went over the Forum Post Leaders Topics, we talked about test retakes, and we talked about what was going to be on the semester test and if we would like to take it as a group or not. We also started going over WW1.
Allied Powers- US- Did not enter till 1917,Great Britain, France, Italy, Russia, Greece, Albania, Serbia
Central Powers- Germany, Austria Hungary, Bulgaria, Ottoman Empire
Tuesday- We started going over the Causes of World War 1.
Wednesday- Mr. Brun's is gone, so we had a day to review and study for the Semester 1 Test.
Thursday- We continued going over World War 1. We also turned in our ITBS scores for extra credit, then we decided what we are going to do for the semester test either in a group or individual.
Shell Shock- Continuous gun fire and people start having a nervous breakdown from it.
Friday- We got a new Forum Post Leader, we talked about what time we are coming in for our Semester Test.

Causes for U.S. involvement in WW1
- German sinking of British ships and killing of U.S. citizens
- Great Britain and Germany were both stopping U.S. ships
- Germany declared unrestricted submarine warfare.
- 1915 Lusitania
- Germany tried to get mexico to declare war on the United States
- Germany promised Mexico that they would get the Mexican Cession back if they won
- Germany wanted to keep the US out of Europe
- War hawks - teddy believed we should be at war and help them out.
- Trade with England increase.
- British and American propaganda
- Preparedness Program - U.S. started arming and preparing for war.
- American business - Munition business pushed U.S. into war to make money
