Today we continued on Mr Bruns's powerpoint. We continued talking about Lee Harvey Oswald. He was in he marines and achieved the sharp shooter status by two points. Eventually he was dishonorably discharged because he wanted to go out and help his sick mother. When he eventually got married he physically and verbally abused his wife. He handed out papers for the fair play for cuba play. This was to help to keep people from bothering Cuba. Since he is supporting Cuba they think what Kennedy tried to do to Cuba's leader would give Oswald a reason to kill Kennedy.Oswald bought his Mannlicher Carcano rifle in Chicago. When he left the School Book Depository he had a coke in his hand a looked casual so he got out of the building then killed a different cop that stopped him. He was eventually arrested in a theater. They knew he was there because of a shoestore owner that saw him go in there without paying and they thought it was a little weird. At first he claimed to be a patzy or somebody who did it and took the blame but he was ordered by somebody else to do it.When he was being transfered to a county jail he was shot by Jack Ruby. He later died in the same hospital that Kennedy was taken after he was shot.Ruby owned strip clubs. He would also always bring donuts for police and he was kind of friends with them.People thought he may have killed Oswald to keep him from talking because there may have been other people involved in the assassination. He claimed he did it so Jackie Kennedy wouldnt have to face Oswald in trial. Then we talked about the Warren comission. There were three shots all together. One hit Kennedy in the neck and went all the way through and into governor Conally who was sitting in front of him. The second one missed completely to the left of the car. The third one was the fatal shot to Kennedy's head.On the basis of the evidence before the Commission it concludes that, Oswald acted alone.
